Who is Chris Paul?

Christopher Emmanuel Paul, also known as CP3, is a Winston Salem, North Carolina native who played college basketball at Wake Forest University. After spending two years at Wake Forest, Paul was drafted into the 2005 draft, where he was selected fourth overall for the New Orleans Hornets. Since playing for the Hornets, Paul has played 16 seasons in the NBA, has made 9 All-NBA Teams, 9 All-NBA defensive teams, and played for teams such as the Phoenix Suns, Oklahoma City Thunder, and Houston Rockets, and Los Angeles Clippers. He has also been named rookie of the year 2006, four-time NBA steals leader, two-time NBA Assists leader, and a five-time NBA All-Star. Off the court, Paul has won two Olympic gold medals, one in 2008 and one in 2012. With all these accomplishments throughout his career, Chris Paul is known to be one of the greatest points guards of all time.

PUBLICATIONS

In 2009 Chris Paul published a book entitled “Long Shot: Never Too Small To Dream Big.” The picture book autobiography tells the story of young Chris Paul, who wanted to try out for the local basketball team; however, he is faced with various obstacles and negative energy from the older boys in the neighborhood. The book also explains his journey to the NBA despite being told he was too small.
